Why automation?
There is no room for error in treatment plants: a wrong valve sequence or a skipped backwash directly spoils the output water quality. That is why we run sand-carbon filters, softening lines, reverse osmosis (RO) units and seawater desalination systems with sequences driven by measurement data.
What we do
- Automatic backwash and regeneration on filtration and softening lines
- High-pressure pump protection, inlet pressure and conductivity supervision on RO lines
- Proportional dosing, chlorine and pH correction loops on dosing pumps
- Level protection in tanks and basins, duty/standby operation of pumps
- Continuous data acquisition from flow, conductivity, ORP and pressure measurements
Monitoring
The plant is monitored on a single diagram on Siemens WinCC SCADA or operator panel screens. Valve states, pump running hours and measured values are recorded; in case of an alarm the affected section automatically moves to a safe state. In our projects we use Siemens S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-300 and Delta PLCs.
