In accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), we would like to inform you about how the personal data you share through our website is processed.
1. Personal data processed
- Contact form: name and surname, e-mail address, phone number, company name, and the subject and content of your message.
- Job application form: name and surname, e-mail address, phone number, field of interest, cover letter, and the information contained in your CV.
- Technical data: records such as IP address and browser information needed for the secure operation of the website, and cookies strictly necessary for the website to function.
Please do not include special categories of personal data (such as health, religion or association membership) or your photograph in your CV.
2. Purposes of processing
- To respond to your enquiries and requests for quotation,
- To evaluate job applications and contact you when a suitable position is available,
- To ensure the security of our website and prevent misuse.
3. Method of collection and legal basis
Your personal data is collected electronically through the forms on our website and processed on the following legal grounds under Article 5(2) of the KVKK:
- it is directly related to the establishment of a contract (c),
- it is necessary for the data controller to comply with a legal obligation (ç),
- it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f).
4. Transfer
Your personal data may be transferred, only for the purposes above and to the extent necessary, to:
- the providers of our website hosting and e-mail services (as data processors),
- public authorities legally entitled to request it, upon request.
Your personal data is not transferred abroad.
5. Retention period
Contact messages are kept for a maximum of 2 years after your request has been concluded, and job applications for a maximum of 2 years from the date of application; they are deleted at the end of this period. If you ask for your application to be deleted earlier, your request will be fulfilled.
6. Your rights (Article 11 of the KVKK)
By applying to the data controller, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request its deletion or destruction under Article 7 of the KVKK; request that corrections and deletions be notified to the third parties to whom it has been transferred; object to a result to your detriment arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
7. How to apply
You can send your requests in writing to the address above or by e-mail to info@ste.com.tr. Your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
