Emko Measurement and Control Devices

On this page we have brought together the Emko Elektronik family of measurement and control devices: temperature controllers, process controllers and indicators, sensors, counters and time relays, and cooling controllers.

Temperature controllers: on-off and PID

If the temperature in an oven, boiler or production line drifts by a few degrees, both the product and the energy bill drift with it. Emko digital on-off and PID temperature controllers continuously measure the process temperature, compare it with the setpoint and drive the output with PID logic; autotuning enables fast commissioning. The group covers digital on-off controllers, PID controllers, analog temperature controllers and temperature + humidity controllers.

Process controllers and indicators

Emko process controllers and indicators for controlling and monitoring process values such as pressure, level and flow: reading the measured value on the panel and keeping the process within the required band with alarm limits and control outputs.

Temperature and humidity sensors

Correct control starts with the right sensor. For thermocouple (type J/K), RTD (PT100) and humidity sensors we select the measuring range, sheath length and connection type to suit the application, completing them with suitable protection elements in corrosive or vibrating environments.

Counters and time relays

On a production line, the answers to “how many”, “how long” and “in what order” come from counters and time relays. Emko digital counters automate the end of line with piece counting, total operating hour recording and preset (target count) outputs; time relays and timers operate in delayed-start, interval and cyclic modes.

Cooling controllers

Emko cooling controllers for temperature control and fan/compressor timing in cold rooms and refrigerated and freezer cabinets.

Tachometers and other measurement devices

Digital tachometers for monitoring rotational speed; the product group is completed with digital potentiometers, data acquisition software and scanners.

Supply and support

We supply the devices to order and, on request, deliver them installed in a panel, wired and tested. Together we determine which input type (thermocouple/RTD) and which output (relay/SSR/analog) fits your process; we set the device parameters to suit the process and commission them.
